Soltice Morrison

I’m a Junior Contaminated Land Specialist working for Aurecon in Wellington. In my role, I provide clients with expert advice around compliance with environmental regulations and management of contaminated land and water.

I was raised in Rotorua, a city perched on the edge of the polluted Lake Rotorua (an ‘environmental disaster’). I am very excited to be joining the Lakes380 team as they identify lakes in need of protection. As the 2020/2021 BLAKE GNS Ambassador, I hope to contribute to the project by weaving my Mātauranga Māori knowledge with my scientific skills and understanding of environmental management, to guide future lake restoration efforts and ensure our lakes are valued and protected – now and for generations to come.
