Phil Keoghan

Philip Keoghan is one of the world’s most well-known New Zealanders, and has the ability to inspire and mobilise hundreds of thousands of people across the globe to make a difference.

Widely known as the host of network television series The Amazing Race, Phil uses his worldwide reach to motivate people through his NOW (No Opportunity Wasted) philosophy, which is grounded in the importance of making the most of every day.

Phil has combined his passion to end Multiple Sclerosis and his love of cycling to create a team of elite young developmental cyclists under the age of 23. The group race all over the country and raise money and awareness for MS.

As well as helping others achieve, Phil has written the best-selling book NOW and has won eight Primetime Emmy Awards as host and producer of The Amazing Race. He also won the Global Action Award for 2012 which celebrates individuals committed to addressing and solving some of the most urgent problems facing the world today.

Phil maintains a strong connection with his home town Christchurch and New Zealand, bringing international attention to New Zealand when it’s required. Immediately following the Christchurch earthquake, Phil was on a plane back to New Zealand to mobilise help on an international level. As a highly acclaimed broadcaster and producer, he has an approachable demeanour and takes every opportunity to demonstrate his Kiwi pride.

His pride in his country also shines through his work as an ambassador for Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand.
