Sir Peter Blake believed in the incredible potential of young people to achieve great things.

The BLAKE Young Leader Awards aim to recognise our young New Zealanders (Years 5-8) who show commitment to leading positive change in their community that leads to a sustainable future for Aotearoa.

Each year, together with our Foundation Partner Westpac, we ask primary and intermediate schools all over New Zealand to nominate one promising young Kiwi leader for a BLAKE Young Leader Award.

The 2020 BLAKE Young Leader Awards presentations will take place in September, with Westpac branch staff across the country presenting these awards to the students who are nominated by their schools.
